In the Maitland®-Concept the therapist moves constantly between a theoretically diagnostic and a clinical level.
Following a detailed anamnesis and functional examination the true cause of the symptoms is localised and treated with techniques involving joints, soft tissue and neural areas.
An independent continuation of the therapy is assured by means of exercises and other necessary measures.
